Document Library
A document library is an electronic way to provide approved slides and materials on demand. It is not unusual for a speaker to arrive at an engagement having forgotten the presentation or for a speaker to need a presentation for a specific population such as physician audience vs. nursing audience. A document library provides a way for speakers to download presentations from a web based solution as needed.
From a regulatory perspective, it protects the sponsor company. It is a way to document the approved slides that were provided in the case that a physician speaks off label. It is also a way to provide an audit trail if the need arose from an inquiry.
